Globus Medical presents the first working prototype of the Excelsius Surgical robot

Globus Medical has recently demoed its spine surgery system: They exhibited at the North American Spine Surgery Meeting. The concept is not entirely new, the company acquired Excelsius Surgical in 2014.  Excelsius was founded back in 2011.It is believed that they are still a few years away from general commercialization.
